About the Designers: Meet the creative duo Boucquillon & Maaoui, with Michel Boucquillon born in Belgium in 1962. In 2000, he established a cutting-edge workshop in Lucca, Tuscany, within the avant-garde confines of "CASA BOUCQUILLON" – a space that seamlessly intertwines exploration, meditation, and the confluence of life and work. Michel is a luminary in the realm of Industrial Design and experimental Architecture, collaborating with the world's foremost design companies. His visionary creations grace the collections of several museums and have earned him prestigious international awards.
Donia Maaoui, Michel's wife and an accomplished architect in her own right, is an integral part of their collaborative endeavors. While contributing to select Alessi and Martinelliluce projects, her primary focus remains on cast bronze sculpture and painting, adding another layer of artistic richness to their shared creative journey.
